In their words
“Really REALLY bad glitches in this app. every day. Without fail. It has a some legs & alot of potential but its such a pain to use that it puts you off doing what is required. Very slow in a fast paced environment. Would love to work with the development team to give real world feedback & help encourage some forward progress. I have no choice but to use it b/c it's part of my work role, but it has a long way to go compared to Microsoft,Asana and other products I've used. Hopeful for some updates”

“I really dont think you guys read my review. I dont want to make an account for a 'trial', only to have to go through the hassle of deleting it if it doesnt work for what I need it for. There is no way you can guarantee it will. Every app needs accounts to open, and I dont need hundreds of accounts building up for every app I try and then delete if I dont like it. The low review is bc your other apps do not require this, an account, which is a great feature. This is a step backwards imo.”

“If you were somehow able to physically eat the actual Salesforce web application, then this mobile app must be that meal in vomit form. How such a large, innovative, and lucrative corporation can pump out this clunky, half-working, and poorly-designed app is beyond me. I hope they redesign the app from the ground up, because so many people could use a proper version of it.”

“Poor connectivity. bad interface. lags most of the time. Data mismatch issue. Used sales force earlier. ZOHO is a huge downgrade. I have changed my mobile device recently. unable to login through a new device. The support team is not technically sound to resolve the issue.”

Payer pressure is 0.01. The reviewers are staff, drivers, tenants or parents using software their employer or landlord bought. Their complaints are real and commercially inert: they cannot switch, cannot cancel and cannot be sold to. See the payer gate.
What this study cannot tell you
- About 41% of substantive reviews are not matched by the taxonomy, so every percentage here is a floor, not a true rate. The miss rate is roughly uniform across niches, so comparisons between them still hold.
- App-store reviews over-represent the daily user. Buyers complain on G2, Capterra and in churn calls, and those sources are not represented.
- No recency weighting: a complaint from 2021 counts the same as one from last week, so some cited failures may already be fixed.
- Coverage is uneven between stores; where an app is iOS-only in practice its share is computed from Apple data alone.
